Came here for lunch before we headed to Beach 116
Pros:
- Food here is amazing. Got two mains (roasted chicken and beef stew) and a side (caramelized plantain) for $13, and was able to split between two people.
- Beef stew was tender and full of flavor; roasted chicken was moist

These are one of the few (maybe only) Spanish restaurants near Far Rockaway beach. Food was great but they are scammers!
Please beware that they're menu prices don't match their actual prices. Here is an example: we ordered a chicharrón de pollo and the menu says $12. When we went to pay the bill it showed up at $18!!! The lady w the blonde hair then attempted to defend the bill by saying that it's because we ordered boneless chicharrón de pollo and with the bone is cheaper..... but where is that on the menu? NO WHERE. They should've honored the menu price. Never again lesson learned!
They take advantage because of the demographics of the area. Ridiculous. -

Best Tres Leches I ever had.
They're incredibly friendly ladies, as well, which is a breath of fresh air.
I saw a young boy cleaning the floor and I knew my heart was in the right brick and mortar establishment.

I want to like this place since there is limited authentic Latin food in the upper Rockaways, but their customer service is horrible and the food is just ok. On 2 occasions I placed and order for delivery. In both cases they said 40-45 min. And in both cases I received my food after an hour and a half. I called the restaurant and they wanted me to contact their delivery driver and when I responded that that is not my responsibility, the girl told me oh well and hung up. To make matters worse, I ordered a coffee an most of my coffee had spilled in the bag. The delivery guy had nothing to say about that. I will never be ordering from them again. I rather drive somewhere else for better food and better service.

Our first impression of the restaurant was it's literally a hole in the wall. There was no AC in the middle of July on a 90 degree day and the Buffet was severely slacking. Menu prices are also very deceiving as when you order to a certain specificity they raise the prices significantly without any warning. The food was okay but not worth the prices charged.
